This 2021 NH Home Magazine Design Awards Winner for Home of the Year has received numerous accolades and was the realization of a dream for a couple that loves to host sleepovers, hold social events and cultivate community. The main home’s large open living area and equally large family room below are welcoming spaces, well-suited for large group gatherings ranging from dinners to poetry readings, from jam sessions to artist retreats. The adjoining guest cottage sleeps 16 comfortably. Custom bunks, en suite baths, and a master bedroom make up four similar, yet intentionally unique, “pods,” each built to meet the distinct needs of the varied guests lucky enough to spend a night or more here. Walnut, cedar, soapstone, and stainless steel finishes provide a subdued backdrop for a colorful and creative bunch that knows how to have fun and live life to the fullest.
