Winnipesaukee Bunkhouse

This 2018 NH Home Magazine Design Awards Winner was recognized for Excellence in Small Home Design. Built on the existing footprint of an older cottage just steps from the water’s edge, this 900 square-foot camp does not skimp on style or functionality. Custom-built bunks and a modest master bedroom sleep 12 comfortably. An open-concept living and kitchen room feature curved fir trusses, reclaimed flooring and ceiling boards, built-in appliances, and soapstone and wood countertops. The space is compact, yet provides ample space for cooking, dining, entertaining, and relaxing. Pickled cedar wallboards throughout bring cheerful color to the rustic, wood-filled cottage. A small bath and screened porch round out the space.
